Cape buffalo hunts are one of the most popular dangerous game hunts in Africa. They are considered to be one of the most affordable hunts of the "Big Five" species. Adventure Hunts offers some of the very best Cape Buffalo hunting in South Africa, Mozambique and Namibia — with Zambia coming soon.
Most all Cape buffalo hunts are typically spot-and-stalk, some short distance stalks and others may require long distance tracking to get your shot. Safari trucks are used to locate the animals, and then stalk takes place on foot.
Cape Buffalo are quite thick-skinned and require a minimum hunting caliber of .375, However, most PH's prefer larger calibers such as the .416, .458 or larger for the stopping power, though shot placement is paramount.
One thing to remember: Cape Buffalo hunts are thrilling, dangerous and can be very addictive! Just doesn't get better than that! Book your Adventure Today.

The leopard (Panthera pardus) is one of the "Big 5" dangerous game species, and very popular on the hunters list. These are impressive predators, capable of hunting prey much larger than themselves — fast and agile, possess extremely acute hearing and eyesight — and are well camouflaged, demanding the utmost respect.
Most leopards are solitary night stalkers, though there are some leopards which are active during the day. In one of our hunting areas in Mozambique, except for one, all Leopards were taken in daylight hours, mostly in late afternoon.
Leopards are territorial and can travel up to 10 miles or more during a single night. Known for their agility, they run up to 36 miles per hour, can leap 20 feet horizontally and 10 feet vertically, and are also very strong swimmers.
Bear in mind that these animals are cunning and very dangerous — especially when wounded. They will come for you straight-on and out of nowhere, so shot placement is paramount.
